Every tool here reviews the present PR, or the last incident. Not both.
Pricing and capability data captured directly from each vendor's public site and pricing page, July 2026. Where bugweg itself is still simplified or unbuilt on a claim, we say so on Features — this page isn't exempt from that discipline just because it's about competitors.

Entry price shown is the lowest self-serve tier as published by each vendor; Sentry Seer requires an active Sentry subscription plus the Seer add-on. Enterprise tiers are custom-quoted and excluded. bugweg prices are in Canadian dollars; competitor prices are as published, in US dollars. CodeRabbit's price was re-checked in September 2026. bugweg's production-lock column covers Sentry and Rollbar only — see the note below.
Greptile
9,000+ teams, full repo graph indexing, swarm-of-agents review, a newly launched autonomous test-writing feature (TREX, early access). No static analysis/SAST, no bug recurrence tracking, no predictive risk scoring — Greptile reviews the PR in front of it and stops there.
CodeRabbit
One of the most widely used AI code review apps — it reports 15,000+ customers and 2M+ connected repositories, with linters/SAST scanners and PM-tool integration built in. Reviews are credit/rate-limited on lower tiers (bugweg plans also have monthly review allowances), and like Greptile it has no concept of a bug recurring across PRs over time. Full comparison →
DeepSource
Full static analysis plus AI review with autofix and OWASP/CWE reporting — strong on the static-analysis side specifically. No codebase-graph understanding, no per-developer pattern learning, no predictive risk scoring across time.
SonarQube (+ Gitar)
The broadest static-analysis feature set here — 30–40+ languages, compliance framework support — now with AI review bolted on via its Gitar acquisition. Priced by lines of code, which scales against you as a codebase grows. No developer-specific tracking, no temporal risk prediction, no cross-PR genealogy.
Snyk
Security-focused, not a general AI code reviewer — strong on dependency and vulnerability scanning, outside the scope of what this comparison is mainly about (AI logic review + recurrence tracking). Included because it's a common budget-line neighbor.
Sentry Seer / AI Code Review
The closest thing to bugweg's "lock" half that exists today: Sentry's own agent explains failures, proposes fixes, and can generate tests as part of its higher tiers. It's bundled to Sentry specifically — teams on Rollbar, Bugsnag, Datadog Error Tracking, or Honeybadger get none of it without migrating their error tracker. bugweg's Production Lock covers Sentry and Rollbar webhooks today: when a tracked bug is resolved by a merged fix, it generates a regression test, verifies it fails on the broken commit and passes on the fix, and opens a pull request for a human to review — confirmed end to end on a real merged fix in a test repository. That is two trackers, not every error tracker, and no customer incident has triggered it yet — see Features. We'd rather be compared honestly than let this table imply parity that hasn't been earned in production.
